I have been privileged to work with some of the most passionate, creative and impressive chefs and cooks in the world. From my mother’s table to Michelin starred restaurants I believe every guest should be cherished.

My culinary upbringing across Europe with friends from many cultures, inspired me to capture my Anglo-Italian culinary history and that of others of dual-nationality in my generation in my debut cookbook ‘The Melting Pot; the world in your kitchen’.

I love discovering new talents and finding those special places that make me want to write home about. My journey is filled with colourful foods and characters, delicacies and specialities. I relish the experience of fine dining at a chefs table as much as cracking crabs at a beach shack with the sun setting behind me, and all the sits in between.

Qualified in public and media relations, marketing and journalism, I am a published food writer and restaurant critic. I have extensive experience in management roles for some of the best chefs in the hospitality business. I didn’t set out to make a career in hospitality but I seem to be drawn to it; from my first job working silver service as a teenager for weddings and events in Sussex I worked in vineyards in South Africa, bottega’s in Italy, café’s in France and returned from travelling the world to be Private Dining Assistant and Duty Manager of Gordon Ramsay’s then 9 fine dining Michelin Star winning restaurants in London.

Working alongside kitchen legends including Angela Hartnett, Marcus Wareing, Mark Sargeant, Paul Ainsworth and Jason Atherton, among many talented others was truly inspirational. My role was principally ensuring front of house delivered the most exceptional service while private dining customers were wooed and wowed.
I taught and managed front of house service for the Underground Cookery School with ex Ivy and River Café Chef Matt Kemp. I was then asked to be restaurant, pub and café critic for Explorer Residents Guides in London penning their annual guidebook.

I moved my young family to Cornwall four years ago, managed Rick Stein’s Deli in Padstow, built a  travel and holiday concierge service for luxury holiday homes and offer freelance consulting to holiday home companies, ski chalets and restaurants alongside work as a freelance writer for Cornwall Food, Food Insider, Cornwall Living, Discover Magazine, MyCornwall, Cornwall Food& Drink among others.

I am excited to be combining all the elements of my career in food, hospitality, journalism and marketing, built over 16 years.
